Apache Junction, Arizona

"Sunset Route Limited & Apache Trail Auto Tours" have brought back the Golden Age of motorcar tours and will use it as a means to educate locals and tourists visiting the area. Our goal is to help with the restoration and preservation of the surrounding Superstition Wilderness by introducing visitors to the historical sites, landmarks and natural wonders on the Apache Trail.

Today, the Apache Trail is still considered one of the most scenic road trips in the United States and is the second most photographed area in the state of Arizona. Tourists visiting the Apache Trail can still experience the excitement of traveling down this historic highway in a vintage 1915 Model-T motorcar offered by Sunset Route, LTD & Apache Trail Auto Tours. It will make your trip on the historic Apache Trail a memorable one!

Guided tours range from 3 to 8 hours and start in Apache Junction. Depending on your tour package you will visit historical sites, such as Goldfield Ghost Town, Canyon Lake, Tortilla Flat, Fish Creek Canyon, Apache Lake, Roosevelt Dam & the Ancient Cliff Dwellings.
